About Me & About Roots

Hi, I'm Lexy.

26, mom of four, factory worker, business owner, and aspiring wellness pro bodybuilder — building a life I actually want to live, one rep and one rooted habit at a time.

My story

I'm 26, and my house is loud in every direction at once — three teenagers and a toddler, a full-time factory job with a long commute, and a construction business I co-own on top of it. Roots Fit & Wellness didn't come from having extra time. It came from not having any, and needing a way to build strength and health inside a life that was already completely full.

I'm not a coach who found fitness in a quiet season of life. I found it in the middle of the noise — between school pickups and night shifts, teenagers and a toddler, a business that never really clocks out. If I waited for the "right time," I'd still be waiting. So I stopped waiting and started building instead: small, consistent, rooted habits that actually fit the life I already have.

Right now I'm working toward competing as a wellness pro bodybuilder — not to become someone else, but to prove to myself (and to you) what's possible when you stop waiting for permission and start showing up for yourself, even in small ways, even on the busiest days. More than anything, I want to actually enjoy the life I'm living and creating — not just survive it.

What "Roots" means

Roots means staying grounded when everything around you is moving fast. It's strength you build slowly and keep, habits that hold even on your hardest weeks, and a version of wellness that grows with your real life instead of demanding you rearrange it. You don't need a clean slate to start. You just need roots.

Who this is for

This is for the woman in the thick of it — full schedule, full plate, big goals, and not a lot of extra time. Whether you're a mom, working full-time, running a business, or all three at once, Roots is built for real life, not a version of life you don't have.
